At Kid and Clover, sustainability is in the foundation of everything we do. Our mission began with a simple but powerful idea: to give billy kids a purpose. In the conventional meat and dairy industries, male dairy goats are often discarded as waste. We saw an opportunity to change that.
By sourcing billy kids and offering premium cuts, we’re not only reducing agricultural waste—we’re creating a more ethical, circular food system. Our approach supports:
Animal welfare: Every animal we source is raised on lush pasture, with care and respect.
Waste reduction: We turn what’s traditionally overlooked into a high-protein, nutrient-rich food source.
Eco -friendly packaging: We use recycled boxes that are insulated using woolcool, a eco-friendly and highly sustainable packaging.
Local farming & businesses: We partner with small farms like the one in Kington where our journey began, strengthening rural economies and reducing transport emissions.
The Kids are fed on lush pasture right here on the farm, supplemented with rolled barley from a farm 5 miles away.
Minimal processing: Our meat is handled with precision and care by a local butcher, avoiding unnecessary additives or excessive packaging.
