Kid and Clover is dedicated to providing sustainable pasture-fed kid meat sourced from billy kids that would otherwise be killed at birth. Based in South Wales, our focus is on raising healthy goats to deliver high-protein, lean meat while promoting ethical farming practices. We aim to be a responsible choice for conscious consumers seeking nutritious options.
The kids are bought in off high health status dairy farms and reared on milk until weaned where they are fed a diet of locally sourced barley and are out at lush rich pasture.

What is the difference between kid and goat meat?
Kid meat (what we provide) is goat under 1 year old, this meat is premium high end cuts such as legs, chops & racks. Goat meat on the other hand is from older goats and is often tougher cuts used for slow cooking ect.
What is the health benefits of Kid meat?
One of our favourite things about Kid meat is the health benefits. Low in fat and cholesterol and super high in protein! It is also high in iron, vitamin B12 and Zinc.
What cuts of meat is there?
The cuts of Kid meat are very similar to that of lamb, check our shop to see cuts and joints available. Please note if there is anything missing from our shop you would like to order please ring to ask if we can supply it.
How do I order meat?

How will my order get to me?
For our local customers we offer pickup from the farm and also local delivery within 15 miles. For customers further afield we offer postage using sustainable packaging to help the environment whilst keeping your meat fresh.
How do I cook Kid Meat?
Traditionally kid meat is cooked slow over a low heat to allow the meat to tender & more flavourful.
